Thus, Environmental scanning is a process of collecting and interpreting information and data to determine the conditions, trends, and changes in your environment that might create opportunities or impose threats that directly affect your organization’s viability. Environmental scanning incorporates the SWOT Analysis and the Strategic Planning Process and can be used at the organizational and/or functional level.

 

The workshop will cover environmental scanning with respect to the HR function. Three issues regarding environmental scanning are covered.
